Sign Me Up for a Build
Habitat for Humanity is best known for its homeownership program building alongside families in need. Homes are sold to the qualified homebuyers with an affordable zero percent mortgage. Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity also renovates homes and repairs owner occupied homes to qualifying residents. No previous construction experience is required!
The Habitat construction site is open on Thursdays and Saturdays. Daily activities will vary but may include painting, drywall, framing, carpentry, roofing, site clean-up, and landscaping. Instruction and tools are provided on site, no experience is necessary. Sign up using the calendar button above.
Volunteer at the ReStore
The ReStore is a retail outlet where quality used building materials, furniture and appliances are sold to the public at discounted prices. We are always looking for volunteers to keep the ReStore running smoothly! Our volunteers greet customers, clean and test products, organize and load/unload donations. Community Service at Habitat
Committee Members
Habitat Committees are active. Volunteer Committees lead Family Selection, Homeowner Support, Finance, ReStore and Development work. Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity works with individuals who need to complete service hours including select court ordered community restitution, and students for service learning. If you are interested, please contact our ReStore Manager at 570.322.2515 ext. 307 or email us!
